France Publishes Industry Feedback on Smart Contract Certification in DeFi

On 16 July 2025, France’s ACPR and AMF released a summary of responses to a public consultation on smart contract certification in decentralised finance (DeFi). The consultation was based on a 2024 report developed by a dedicated Working Group under the ACPR-AMF Fintech Forum. The report addressed technical standards, audit methods, and regulatory pathways for smart contract certification in DeFi settings.
